WONDER WOMEN WEDNESDAY

Wonder Women Wednesday was a powerful, uplifting event hosted by the social club We are Brains and Beauty in collaboration with Art Can Heal. This gathering brought together women from all walks of life to network, share advice, and build meaningful connections. Through an engaging speed networking activity and open conversations in a safe, welcoming space, women supported one another, explored opportunities to collaborate, and left feeling refreshed, inspired, and ready to take on the world. This event supported mental health awareness.

The "A" in Steam

This vibrant event was all about honoring the "A" in STEAM, Art, by turning the classroom into a full-fledged art therapy studio. Sponsored in part by Art Can Heal and in collaboration with GraysonSky, @toyboxdollz, and Brooke Storms, the Lighthouse Program invited the STEAM Squad to explore the concept of family through painting.

Challenging the traditional notion of the “nuclear family,” students were encouraged to think beyond stereotypes and paint portraits of the people in their lives who love and support them the most. The activity empowered youth to reflect on their personal family dynamics while celebrating the diverse structures that make each family unique. It was a powerful fusion of creativity, emotional healing, and inclusivity.
